Joseph A. Grande has 25 years of editorial experience in the plastics industry. He most recently served as a senior editor at PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY magazine in New York City, covering blow molding, thermoforming, engineering resins, welding, and composites.
Prior to joining PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY, Grande worked for three years as editorial director at Omnexus Americas Inc., a plastics industry e-marketplace, where he created the only dedicated online daily news service for the plastics industry. He also worked for six years in top editorial posts at MODERN PLASTICS magazine, serving for two years as managing editor. Grande got his start in plastics in 1986 when he joined Media Services Group, GE Plastics’ contracted PR agency. He worked as a public relations specialist for GE for more than eight years.
Grande holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Learn more about our mission.
